On June 11, 2000, Chromatography Sciences Company Inc. celebrates 20 years of continuous service to the chromatography community. Small to medium size companies operating for twenty years in the laboratory supply industry are relatively few. Most of us have seen radical changes, not only in the products we make and sell, but also in the way in which business is conducted. CSC strives to meet every new challenge with enthusiasm and a desire to remain a preferred supplier to our valued customers. In April of 1999, we completely replaced our computer network to ensure compliance in Year 2000 and to eliminate any Y2K concerns of our customers. Above all, CSC is committed to the same fundamental regard for quality and customer service we have had since1980. Our mission is, and has always been, to provide high-quality chromatography products without delay and at fair prices. Our product range was initially limited to HPLC columns but quickly diversified to include a complete range of chromatography equipment and supplies from many of the leading manufacturers in the US, Europe, and Japan. For several years now, following our distribution agreements with CMA/microdialysis of Sweden and Antec Leyden (manufacturers of electrochemical detectors) of Holland, we have been able to offer complete packages of HPLC analytical systems with microdialysis sampling to neuroscientists. CSC's strength is in the marketing and sales of specialized chromatography products requiring a high level of expertise. Our fully-equipped HPLC laboratory allows us to evaluate new chromatography products. We learn quickly about the products we sell and pass on this knowledge and our experience to the end-user. Most of us at CSC are chemistry and biochemistry graduates. We understand the technologies which create a demand for the products we make and sell. We believe that chromatography and microdialysis each has a very bright future and that many young scientists are daily recognizing a need in their work for these technologies. We can help.
